Concert poster design has produced some truly revolutionary artists and works for generations. Fluid design is especially key in poster layouts, as there is limited space and numerous points to capture and pass along. This concert poster was created for a fictional event. The main challenge in making this poster was not including the image of the actual performer. I chose to illustrate the Bronx Whitestone Bridge that connects the Bronx to Queens in New York City where Regina Spektor grew up. The pattern in the background adds depth and a sense of movement to the poster, while the perspective view of the highway and the bridge create a focal point leading your eye to the concert information.
