My name is Christina Calacci and I am a graphic designer, communicator, and historian. I grew up in North Dakota, but currently live in Fort Collins, Colorado. I attended Northern Arizona University and graduated in May 2014. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an Emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in Art History. Most recently, I earned a Master of History Degree with an emphasis in Public History from Arizona State University in December of 2017. While I am not busy designing or reading about art, I can be found spending time with my friends and family. I love to travel and experience new things, along with hiking and spending time outdoors. I am a life long learner passionate about design, arts, history, and current events. If you are interested in reading my writing and research samples along with my personal philosophy, feel free to visit my historical studies portfolio.

“Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery – celebrate it if you feel like it.” — Jim Jarmusch
