Book covers have become progressively more important as the book industry has become more competitive. The cover of a book now gives detailed hints about the style, subject, and genre of the book, along with attracting attention and sales. This project is a book cover remake for Alice in Wonderland. I drew my inspiration for the illustrations in this project from the playing cards in the book. This also influenced my color choice, keeping them all in the same color family, similar to most playing cards. The fonts illustrated for the title were influenced by the Arts and Crafts period at the turn of the Century.
